Monday, September 29 at 7 pm in GAR 3.116 will be our next meeting.
Monday, October 6 at 7 pm in GAR 3.116 will be our BIG JOINT meeting that we hope all of you will be able to attend. We will do a preview of some clips from the video and film the last group of participants (Y'ALL!) for the last cut.

UT for REED began planning the International Signs Project in the Spring of 2008. After successfully working on health projects in the Chortiz Villages of Honduras and in the Chennai region of India , we are now taking on the International Signs Project with the same enthusiasm. The project will involve students at the University of Texas at Austin (the home of UT for REED) and high school students at two schools for the Deaf: Texas School for the Deaf (TSD) in Austin , TX and L¢Ecole Deficient Auditif (EDA) in Bamako , Mali in West Africa .
Major Meeting Invitation!
Agenda: Monday October 6th at 7:00 pm, GAR 3.116
- Snacks and Drinks provided
- Final filming for the Welcome Video: All UT-affiliated individuals are welcome to participate. (If you do not know ASL, please attend our meeting on Monday, September 29 to have your part interpreted.)
o Deaf individuals urged to participate
- Raffle Tickets to Disney Land and Las Vegas
- Initial scripting of the sexual health video
- Translating French subtitles on the first cut of the video
Folks we hope will be represented: D.E.A.F., SSD, TSD , UT ASL and Linguistics Departments, Deaf students
We will arrange an interpreter to be present at the event
