nuovogue is proud to present the 2010 edition of its highly successful CoverGirl competition with a difference. For the first time, the 2010 event will combine the looks and talents of Adelaide’s freshest 18 - 25yr old females and MALES. This year is going to be hotter than ever, not only is it in the sun and fun of January/February 2010 but it is also shaping up to include some of the best sponsors we have seen to date.

The nuovogue CoverGirl was launched in 2007 to support the launch of the innovative and award winning nuovogue Cover Magazine. After two heats and considering more than 40 entrants, in December 2007 the judges announced Vanessa Bockman as the inagural CoverGirl.

Since winning the 2007 event,Vanessa’s career has gone from strength to strength and she now operates a successful promotions and event management business and is an integral part of Adelaide’s model and fashion industry.

Last year, Kathryn Gibbie was crowned 2008 CoverGirl and is now working in Melbourne. Runner Up, Elise Griffiths is currently appearing on the Channel 7 hit show, Beauty and the Geek.
