Saturday, December 12, 2009: 1st Annual Barbeque & Chili Cook-Off
Come out to Tin Star Ranch located 12 miles north of Fredericksburg, Texas for the 1st Annual Barbeque and Chili Cook-Off. This event is a chance for grill and chili masters to show off their skills and a way for families to spend some time enjoying each other watching cowboy action shooting and good food. The entry fees for cook-off participants are $65 for all meats and $20 for chili. Prize money and trophies will be given to 1st-3rd for meats and 1st for chili. 10% of all proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & South Texas. This event is open to the public for $5 a car load. Gates open at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Cook-off participants should check in on Friday, December 11, 2009 at noon.
