Advent’s 11th Annual Golf Classic will be held on Monday, June 8, 2009, at the prestigious Los Altos Golf & Country Club to benefit abused, neglected and addicted children and teens in our community.

Advent Group Ministries is one of the most important charities in the Bay Area, helping chemically dependent teenagers with an innovative residential treatment program and after-school recovery services. Advent also offers low-cost crisis-counseling and foster care. Serving the community for over twenty years, Advent is the only State of California certified residential program for addicted teens in Santa Clara County.

A leader in charitable work, Advent relies on donations, both public and private, to continue in their solemn mission of serving troubled youth and their families. Charity Golf Tournament – Shotgun Start
Advent Group Ministries 11th Annual Golf Classic starts at 10:30 am, with lunch served around 11:00 am. Shotgun start is at 12 noon and playing time will be approximately five hours for a maximum of 144 golfers. The cost for each player is $350. The day will conclude with an evening banquet, including live and silent auctions and a raffle.

Los Altos Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole par 71 course, beautifully manicured year round. With the Santa Cruz Coastal Range as a backdrop, the vistas are some of the most spectacular in the entire Bay Area. You won’t want to miss out on this day of world-class golf and community outreach!
