You have made the choice to participate as a lead host or organizer empowering other Americans to participate in the democratic process. We welcome your involvement to make this an All-Italy event in both name and deed, and to join this team for the work that lies directly ahead of us through Election Day.
The resources collected here will help you plan your evening program, and guide you and your local community of volunteers on the important work we need to accomplish together in the next days and weeks.
Please be sure to take plenty of photos and maybe video of your party, and post them here to share!

PROGRAM NOTES
Here are just some suggestions on how you might schedule the evening. Rome will be following this order of presentation, adding our own speakers between the videos. Feel free to mix and match, or add your own creative elements.
IMPORTANT: The one component that cannot be shifted is the Call-In to Pelosi that begins at 20:00. If you don't yet have the telephone and pass code, write to Molly and she will provide it.
ALSO IMPORTANT: Keep your group's tone positive at all times, especially if you are being interviewed by the press. Say we have two great nominees in Obama-Biden. Avoid mentioning McCain or Palin as this evening is simply not about them. If you need to draw contrasts with our opponents, refer to them just as "the Republicans" and in a respectful way.
MOST IMPORTANT: With your guests and any journalists, remember to repeat and repeat often our earned media story of the evening: urging all Americans in Italy to register in September to be sure their votes are counted in November. We want everyone to leave your lovely gathering fired up and with marching orders to tell every overseas American (plus friends of friends of friends...) about the Vote From Abroad web site:
