Description

Do you have a story you're burning to tell? Not sure if it would be better as a screenplay or stage play? This class will help you decide, as well as strengthen your dialogue, scene structure, character development, and idea generating skills. You’ll get a brief overview of the full-length screenplay and three act theatrical play, delve into well-written scenes, and generate eight pages of new work. You’ll learn how to infuse your stories with humor and mine your personal life for juicy material. You’ll even get started on your next big blockbuster. Experienced and beginning writers welcome. This session will include gourmet tasting plates that will tantalize both the California creative exec and the New York playwright inside of you.

Choose 1 of 4 Sundays: September 14, October 5, October 19, October 26, 2008

Includes gourmet tasting plates and desserts
