A Kunk elsőként hozza el Xinobit Budapestre március 27-én, hogy végre a tavasz hivatalosan is elkezdődhessen. Xinobi a szupermenő Discotexas kiadó zászlóvivőjeként Moullinex mellett egyike a portugál dance-mozgalom ragyogó csillagainak. A liszaboni Club Lux és a Hype Machine bloglistáinak élén töri az utat a nu-disco trekkgyárnak, ami mostanában hozza lázba Európát és Amerikát.

Xinobi a 70-es és 80-as évek inspirációit mossa össze a szintielektro, techno, és helyi Portugál hangzásvilág egyvelegében. Olyan legendásan erőteljes élő fellépést produkál, ami tömegeket mozgatott már meg Európában, Észak-, és Dél-Amerikában, és Ázsiában. Több tucat saját szám és remix került ki a kezei közül az elmúlt fél évtizedben, legutóbb a Discotexas kiadónál, egy szám a Valerie válogatáson, és többek közt Anoraak is remixelte egy trekkjét.

A Kunk márciusi bulija egyben Xinobi európai végállomása is. Ezután indul Moullinex-szel tavaszi turnéra Amerikába.

A dj pult mögé áll még TMX, a Kollektiva szexi harmada, a Gumipop vezérdj-i, Gasman és Super Mario Andris, és a házigazdák, Brandon és Cigi is a menő elektro és indie dance vonalán.

Kunk presents: Discotexas night with Xinobi (PT)

On March 27, spring will officially begin at Mappa Club as Kunk brings Xinobi to Budapest for the first time. Lead actor (alongside Moullinex) for the white hot Discotexas label -- Xinobi is one of the shinging stars coming out of the new Portuguese dance movement led at Lisbon's Club Lux, a staple on the Hypem music blog charts, and is a pioneer among nu-disco track-makers presently grabbing Europe and the US.

Xinobi blends 70s/80s-inspired sounds together with servings of electro, synth, techno, and local flavorings from his Portuguese home, into a legendary energetic live set which has been performed across clubs in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. He's released dozens of originals and remixes during the past half-decade -- including just recently on the Discotexas label, as well as on the Valerie (FR) compilation featuring remixes by Anoraak, and more.

This edition of Kunk will mark Xinobi's final European date before embarking on a springtime US-tour with Moullinex.

Supporting sets are provided by Kollektiva's sexy poster boy, TMX, Gumipop lead indie-popper Gasman, and hosts Brandon and Cigi with their mash of hot electro and indie dance.
