Description
The Andrews University Wind Symphony, under the direction of Alan Mitchell, will present a Holiday Concert in the Howard Performing Arts Center.
The concert will feature On This Day Earth Shall Ring by Gustav Holst, Jesus, Jesus Rest Your Head, arranged by Tom Wallace, Patapan, arranged by Tom Wallace, Cradlesong by Steven Barton, The Bluebells of Scotland by Leroy Anderson, The Eight Candle by Steve Reisteter, and A Christmas Festival for Band by Leroy Anderson.
In addition, the AU Jazz Band will perform The Christmas Waltz by Jule Styne, White Christmas by Irving Berlin, I’ll be Home for Christmas by Walter Kent, Still, Still, Still by Paul Clark, Baby, it’s Cold Outside by Frank Loesser, and Winter Wonderland by Felix Bernard.
The concert will also feature selections performed by the AU Flute Ensemble, Clarinet Ensemble, Saxophone Quartet, and Brass Quintet.
General admission is $5.00, student and senior admission is $3.00. Call the HPAC Box Office at 471-3560 for tickets
