IDEA Club OK presents Academic Freedom Day Lectures

Wikipedia’s editors have this to say about February 12th, Darwin Day: “Darwin Day is…intended to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin on February 12, 1809. The day is also an opportunity to highlight Darwin’s contribution to science and to promote science in general.”

But as Darwin himself noted,“A fair result can be obtained only by fully stating and balancing the facts and arguments on both sides of each question.”

This February 12th - Darwin Day - will be followed on its heels at the University of Oklahoma by Academic Freedom Day on February 20th. IDEA Club will have a display accompanied by discussion on the South Oval of the OU campus, as well as lectures by John West and Casey Luskin, advocates for intelligent design. Check out our schedule or more on John West or Casey Luskin.
