We are in the final three days of the March 31st Red Envelope Day movement. Your response, support and encouragement has been overwhelming. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
Many have been asking when the next or what the next event will be. You may or may not know that January 22nd is the anniversary of Roe V. Wade (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roe_v._Wade). We are planning on holding the next Red Envelope Day event on that date.
We may be sending Red Envelopes, bringing them to the White House, posting them around the city, dressing up like them or who knows what!! We aren't sure exactly what the next event will be like but we do know that it will incredible.
We need and covet your prayer support. Please take a moment visit and fill out the form on http://www.RedEnvelopeDay.com/contact.php. We are using this form to contact people so expect mailings and updates.
The next time around we hope to be far more organized so please fill out the form and contact us (http://www.RedEnvelopeDay.com/contact.php) if you would like to help.
We also wanted to remind you that it isn't too late to send envelopes on our website: http://www.RedEnvelopeDay.com/send.html. We will hold the envelopes until the 31st then send them out on your behalf.
Finally, please visit our Facebook group that has grown to almost 250,000 people (http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=61972048141) and encourage people to become a "fan" on our "page" (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Red-Envelope-Day/56778716260). We are not able to send messages to the group because of the size limit Facebook has placed on messaging large groups. Also, people are asking questions about the event and we feel the people who are "fans" on the page are very well informed and helpful.
Please take some time to answer questions and refrain from debate. You can also visit the related event to answer questions as well. Here is what we want people to remember:
1. PRAY! Please pray during March 31st and over the envelopes you send.
2. We are sending the envelopes ON the 31st, not before or after, ON.
3. Try to meet up at the post office and take photos of your experience
4. We are not here to debate the abortion issue, we are here to participate in Red Envelope Day. Please encourage people to join debate groups if they would like, that's not our purpose.
5. Join our "page" if you are on the "group".
