The DC Defenestrators were lucky enough to be able to host this year's International World Pillow Fight. http://www.pillowfightday.com/

Note there will be no formal meet up for this event so read carefully and follow all of these directions:

The rules of the game:
+ Soft pillows only!
+ SWING LIGHTLY, many people will be swinging at once.
+ DO NOT swing at people without pillows or with cameras. (there will be some expensive cameras there)
+ I strongly recommend removing glasses and jewlery beforehand!
+ The event is free and appropriate for all ages.
+ Wait until the signal to begin."
+ *You are respnsible for cleaning up any litter you make

Show up to the location shown in image 1 around 2PM with a CONCEALED SOFT pillow - in a bag, backpack or something similar and act completely noncalant.

Timeline of what will happen:
2PM Agent Oscar and Agent Bryan will begin verbally arguing on the national mall.
2:01 Still disagreeing, the agents will pull out pillows to solve their differences. At this point if you see what's going on walk over to the action... verbally try to stop them briefly then take out your pillow to "break up" the action.
Fighting will go until approximately 2:20

(note if the fight is broken up by park services STOP FIGHTING AND DO EVERYTHING THEY SAY. There is a mid - strong chance of this happening. You are responsible for your own actions!)

We will re-conceal our pillows and leave for Dupont Circle right after that.

3PM - Agents Oscar and Bryan again will get into an argument and the same series of events will follow as before.

3:30 - the fighting will end for a 15 minute break to hydrate and we will begin announced events after that such as:

Pillow freeze tag
Pillow Zombie tag
"The Stereotype pillow fight"
Pillow Capture the Flag
and *maybe*
the Ultimate Pillow 1 on 1 Bracket Challenge

So if you come late, don't worry. There will be several "rounds" of pillow fighting. There's also plenty to do / eat in Dupont between events.
