White Lantern Film is proud to announce the launch of the Future Shorts Film Festival on Bournemouth Pier.
On Friday March 6th 2009 at 8pm
White Lantern Film is pleased to announce The Launch of The Future Shorts Film Festival at the renown Bournemouth Pier Theatre.
Films include 'Je t'aime, Je t'aime' an exclusive selection of short films from around the world inspired by love sex and everything in-between .
Future Shorts is one of the leading and most innovative short film labels. Since 2003, Future Shorts has created a rapidly expanding network that allows filmmakers the opportunity to have their work seen on the largest theatrical platform worldwide.
Passionately believing in getting short films seen and creating a culture around the medium, Future Shorts is recognised by filmmakers, the industry and press alike as the cutting-edge short film label. Future Shorts is a worldwide quarterly film festival as This is fresh cinema- Future Shorts.
Films in Febuary include the beautiful and haunting 'Little Minx Exquisite Corpse: Come Wander With Me' - part of a fascinating project inspired by a surreal parlour game, ‘Wrestling,’ Grímur Hákonarson's love story about two gay wrestlers living in rural Iceland and 'Happiness' the happy-go-lucky free-for-all music video from Goldfrapp.
In association with BFI, Future Shorts are proud to present a rarely seen short from Jeff Keen, the unsung hero of the British experimental film scene, which will be shown ahead of the main program.
White Lantern film will also be running a drinks reception/networking session before the event and running a competition to showcase short films by local talent which will be previewed to the 750 guests and industry expert.
White Lantern Film is proud to announce this years industry Expert and Ambassador world famous Cinematographer
