Description
Please join Rabbi Andrew Hahn, Ph.D., the Kirtan Rabbi, as together we explore the story and history of Passover in an interfaith manner and seek to draw meaning from it for our lives. Activities will include: Meditations to help us move from inner constriction to freedom; Chanting; Discussions of circular versus linear time; what is a religion's "Story," and to what extent are we bound by it; and, finally, what Passover teaches us about asking Questions in general. All of this will be organized in a mini-Seder, a ceremony normally celebrated around the table at home.
Satsang (community gatherings to discuss spiritual matters) helps to broaden our hearts and minds. In Sanskrit, "Sat" means TRUTH and "Sangha" means COMMUNITY. Passover makes for a wonderful opportunity for Satsang, since it is all about community and inquiry.
$5 (children under 13 free)
