TU's Stream Clean-Up Day: June 13, 2009
To help celebrate TU's 50th, TU is hosting a national stream clean-up day on June 13, 2009.

TU volunteers and staff will work together on streams and rivers around the country, cleaning up trash and planting trees. The national event will engage a host of volunteers and will provide opportunities for partnership with schools, synagogues and other community organizations. Prizes will be awarded to TU chapters who engage the most volunteers at a clean-up site and for those who collect the most trash, and for the strangest thing found in a stream clean-up.
