The ALL DAY Big Fat Summer Festival Afterbath
The Rainbow, Digbeth

A Classic. An all dayer. A Custom Made favourite. Some of the best ingredients of our parties so far to wrap up the summer with a home made recipe to rival your Nana’s cooking!
All day BBQ chillin in deckchairs, our old friend heading back up on the National Express to feed us proper reggae reggae sauce, a live ska filled sunset with the insatiable Royal Gala, into a bouncy ass boogaloo late night mash up!
DJ Derek
The legendary Bristol-based DJ whose blend of Rocksteady, Reggae, ska, dub and soul music has made him a true cult hero and The Godfather of Custom Made!
Derek isn't your average turntablist - a former accountant in his 60s with a major cardigan habit. He is reputed to be able to rock any dance floor and has delighted audiences at all the major festivals, including Glastonbury and The Big Chill, ‘toasting’ tunes in Jamaican Patois while DJing. He combines his two other hobbies of real ale and coach travel by visiting Wetherspoons pubs around Britain via National Express.
Royal Gala (9 piece funk/ska band)
Royal Gala are a cocktail of Dub, Reggae, Funk, Soul and Ska and Full on Brass Laden Orchestral Grooves. Playing with Neville Staple (The Specials) and at Notting Hill Arts Club with Sweet Memory Sounds, Custom Made is excited to host this 9 piece live extravaganza again after their stellar performance at our Hairy Hounds gig.
