Join a renowned group of interdisciplinary scholars and practitioners exploring whether, and under what circumstances, torture might be justifiable. Investigate with them permissible limits of interrogation; circumstances under which a society may possibly overstep such limits; and how a liberal state balances the need for security with the mandate to uphold human dignity.
