In the tradition of “Short Cool Ones” the 1996 blues release from Wilson diesel, he returns again to his roots, and the studio to produce a raw blues album working title‘Saturday Suffering Fools’.

Slated for a May 2009 release and comprising of originals and unearthed blues gems, the record will feature long-term band members Richie Vez and Lee Moloney, as well as Bernie Bremond (ex Injectors) and father Hank Lizotte on horns.

While the “paint is still drying” on the recording, the band will embark on some special preview live dates at select venues. This show will comprise of selections from “Saturday Suffering Fools” as well as past cuts from the 1996 release “Short Cool Ones” before diesel and his band rewind through back catalogue connecting diesel’s blues roots.

Diesel will be showcasing tracks from ‘Saturday Suffering Fools’.

A sampler EP will be given to each ticket purchaser on arrival at the venue.

Renowned blues act THE BLUES PREACHERS will be adding to the experience on the night.
