A full suite of music I wrote in 2008 for quintet. It's very highly composed and often really difficult, though there's room for improvisation, too. The music is often angular and harsh but there are a lot of quiet and pretty moments too. Writing these 5 pieces was a major part of my compositional development in 2008.

I'll be playing alto saxophone and bass clarinet, with a band I'm very excited about. Russ Johnson (tpt), Nir Felder (gtr), Adam Armstrong (b), Fred Kennedy (drums).

The last time we played was Nov 1, and it will be a few months before we're playing again here in NY - this is not one of those "once a month" bands, so ... please come out!
