Description

The Canada Japan Society is proud to present a screening of Alain Corneau's 2003 film "Fear and Trembling". Based on the autobiographical novel by Amélie Nothomb the story follows a young Japanese born/ Belgian woman as she unsuccessfully tries to cope with the office politics in a large Japanese corporation. Sylvie Testud, starring as Amélie won the 2003 César Award for best actress for her performance... plus it never got a Canadian theatrical release, so take this chance to see it on the big screen!
