Description
A former U.S. Army military intelligence officer and foreign area officer specializing in China, Dennis Blasko was an army attaché in Beijing from 1992-1995 and in Hong Kong from 1995-1996. He is a well respected independent analyst of the Chinese military and the author of The Chinese Army Today: Tradition and Transformation for the 21st Century, published in 2006.
Blasko will speak about "Military, Bureaucratic, and Scholarly Perceptions and Misperceptions of the Chinese Armed Forces."
