Tour Marin’s Eco-Friendly Gardens
Taking place on May 9, this self-guided tour will feature 25 gardens/locations throughout Marin County. At each location a landscape professional or homeowner will be available to discuss the eco-friendly methods used, such as native & drought tolerant plants, permeable surfaces and owl boxes, to name a few.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED: To register/for more info, contact Gina Purin 415-499-3202, email: gpurin@co.marin.ca.us or visit mcstoppp.org and click on events. Registration includes a "Garden Guide" with a description of each garden, locations and driving instructions.
Most locations open 10-2 pm, some 2-4pm.
TOUR FEE: $10. Free for students and low-income individuals. This educational event is Sponsored by Marin County Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program in cooperation with the Marin Art & Garden Center.
