Sick of bad TV? On Wednesday 20th of MAY come down to iconic Brisbane venue ‘The Zoo’ and see local outfit Friends of Hers team up with songwriter Kathryn McKee and didgeridoo player and composer William Barton.

Like a pre-packaged TV dinner, the evening will be full of music so good you will think it's bad for you.

For entree, WILLIAM BARTON serves up his original creations for didge, guitar and laptop - a sneak preview from his upcming album. Witness the Brisbane premiere of this international, award-winning virtuoso mixing what he does best with epic textures and soaring guitar solos.

The night's main course FRIENDS OF HERS are one of Brisbane's most promising acts. Lead by front man Brad McCaw, onstage they are alive with presence and energy. Their songs will move your heart and feet with a powerful blend of pop, rock and jazz.

And for dessert, classically trained cellist KATHRYN MCKEE is a fresh face on Brisbane's original music scene. Post-rock, post-pop and post-classical, her five-piece band is anything but post-interesting. Think emotive songs and electroacoustic works for piano, laptop and beats. Then think string quartet.
