Many of you know me as the Jamaican Lawyer / Mediator who has recently made Ottawa her home.

This is my first walk and I am inspired to make a contribution to the fight to end this terrible disease which has touched many people worldwide.

I feel that together, our contribution can help with the ongoing research and the treatment of individuals who are bravely fighting this disease.

I walk in hope… hope that my efforts will help to bring us one step towards finding a cure, so that we can share these discoveries with people worldwide.

I am humbled and proud to walk for all those who can't, those who are struggling with the disease and those who have lost loved ones.
