Bank of Ann Arbor's Sonic Lunch 2009 kicks off June 4 and runs through August 27, 2009. This awesome outdoor summer concert series will rock Ann Arbor's Liberty Plaza every Thursday from 11:30am to 1:30p, and it is totally free and open to all ages! Lawn chairs are welcome.

The Ragbirds put on a show that is designed to engage the audience on many levels - to get people thinking, listening and dancing! Zindle skillfully switches between violin, mandolin, banjo, accordion, and percussion in addition to singing lead vocals (all while dancing!). The Ragbirds musical roots are deeply complex, with Americana, Gypsy, Celtic, Middle-Eastern and Latin influences, but the music has a joy and simplicity to it that appeals to listeners of all ages. In live performances the band incorporates variations on traditional African drum pieces, each member trading their instrument for a hand drum.
