Description

A networking event for the UK tech community including bloggers, journalists, startups, PR agencies and tech companies.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who turned up last night, it was great to see so many of you. I'd like to add a special thanks to Daryl Willcox Publishing, Sonim Technologies and Wildfire PR for sponsoring the bar and everyone who donated a prize towards the UKTJPR Raffle: Qualcomm, FlipVideo UK and Kaizo, Julia Mitchell at Toast PR, HTC and Nelson Bostock, Elgato, Minoru and Tin Drum, Carphone Warehouse and Freud, Paramount and Shine, LG and Firefly and James Whatley at Spinvox.

On the subject of the UKTJPR raffle, we managed to raise £1,052.38 for Marie Curie Cancer Care thanks to all of your donations. Thanks again to RealWire Limited who donated a very generous £400.

And now for a bit of housekeeping. The following people won prizes but weren't at Knot and need to contact me to claim their prize, this includes Robert Follis who won one year's free SpinVox, Lucia Barbato who won a Sony Ericsson S500i and Motorola Bluetooth headset, Ben Colclough who won a couple of day passes to One Alfred Place, Ed Grattan who won an HTC Touch Viva and Joshua Ross who won an LG KS360. Could you please all email me at UKTJPR@googlmail.com to claim your prize.

Last but not least I'd like to thank James Whatley, Six Degrees PR and Vikki Chowney for helping me out on the night, I really don't think I could have managed without you.

See you all soon,
Andrew

P.S. (a) If anyone has any photos of last night can you please post them to the group's photo page http://www.facebook.com/photo_search.php?oid=20265537392&view=all (b) Jamie Klingler from ShortList lost a ladies Calvin Klein coat last night. If you took the wrong coat by mistake could you please let me know.
