“The Call of the River” - A Fundraiser Kickoff to Animas River Days
Animas River Days kicks off June 12th with a Durango premiere of Kent Ford's Historical Documentary "The Call of the River". The film features vintage canoeing and kayaking footage and in-depth interviews with eclectic pioneers. Also showing are flyfishing films "The Hatch" about the Black Canyon of the Gunnison and "See The Take" about the Futaleufu (Fu-ta-lay-fu) river in Chile.
The show benefits San Juan Citizens Alliance, Trout Unlimited, and Animas Riverkeeper river programs. Shows are Friday, June 12th at 7:00 and 8:45 PM at the Smiley Theater in Durango.
