The Event, Southwark Park provides top quality entertainment every year, and in 2009 we have another fantastic line up of artists to provide a great free day out in London. Headlining is Alexander O'Neal supported by The Blockheads and earlier in the afternoon special guests The Bachelors.

Don't forget everything going on including the Green Space, our interactive area where you can learn and discover all about the environment, the markets and of course the funfair.

It will all kick off with the Bermondsey Carnival, starting at Bermondsey Spa Gardens at 12 noon and will pass through The Blue Market on the way to Southwark Park and finish at The Event.

Access: Southwark Park has level access and accessible toilets. A main stage viewing platform will be available for wheelchair users and BSL interpretation available at the main event information point.
