Description

What is Action Research Really? Exploring Multiple Perspectives Across Boundaries, Borders and Disciplines

The University of San Diego Symposium is the preeminent North American and Pacific Rim meeting on action research for international scholars and practitioners. It attracts diverse global faculty, student, community and professional participants with a shared passion for using collaborative, democratic research methods to improve practice and through it, the human condition. Participants leave with new knowledge, skills, connections, and with a renewed sense of community and possibility.

Please join action researchers from around the globe. This practical two day event will feature keynote speaker, Susan Noffke, Ph.D., professor, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and co-editor of The SAGE Handbook of Educational Action Research. The symposium offers researchers from varied positions and places the opportunity to engage with one another and develop a broader, shared understanding of the nature and potential of Action Research.

$80, general; $55, students
