Description
Flash mob at Purdue Engineering fountain next Tuesday (9/25) @ 1:25pm.
"A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse."- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_mob
**********************DO NOT CONGREGATE**********************
Don't create a mass of people. Stay away from the Engineering fountain until 1:25 pm exactly. Stay dispersed. Walk around the Engineering mall if you're early, but stay close enough to hear a loud track whistle.
When the whistle blows at 1:25 pm run to the fountain, drop to your knees and start "worshiping" the fountain. Bow repeatedly and chant (gregorian style) nonsense until the whistle blows again (in about a minute). Then, go separate ways silently. Do not clap or cheer. Act as if nothing happened -- this will make the whole event more fun and absurd.
Imagine the sight!
Email (and IM) this to everyone you know and invite your friends to the Facebook event: http://purdue.facebook.com/event.php?eid=9263522726
