Join Slow Food UW for –
The Last Supper
(well, of this semester anyway)
What are we making?
This week we are preparing one of the world’s oldest and most beloved street foods. Falafel has been a Middle Eastern tradition for centuries. Today you can find them on the menus of lunch carts and late night take-aways around the world. Why are they so popular?
Come and find out! We’ll be falafel from scratch and serving it on pita along with all the best topping, including hummus, yogurt sauce, and tabbouleh.
Cooking workshop and dinner cost only $5 for members/$7 for non-members. (Membership for the year can be purchased at the dinner for only $10).
Space is limited, so please rsvp via email (slowfooduw@gmail.com) or on our facebook event page.
