Joel’s impaired hearing and inability to communicate verbally, has given him a unique take on the world around him. His raw style and unpredictable narrative lend itself to a truly unusual art production. Within a variety of mediums Joel creates characters that transcend reality and cartoon-like imagery, while capturing the qualities of his personal experiences with the world in stunning perspective.
