Booking Aggiefest 09
Hey everyone!

It's time to sign up with the Manhattan Music Coalition for Aggiefest '09!!! This year we're featuring ~6 venues with over 100 slots in which to play. Sign up soon! Any and all musical acts are welcome, and be sure if you are a part of different groups, or also play as an individual, to please send in a different request for each to aggiefestbands@gmail.com. Each request should include:

1. Band Name
2. Band Location/Where you'll be traveling from
3. Contact Name, Email Address, AND Phone Number
4. Myspace page WITH uploaded music
5. Any conflicts that you may have with Fri. Sept. 18th (6pm to 2am), or Sat. Sept. 19th (2pm to 2am)

Please do make sure you're available for the above times. Any bands that have conflicts, we will do our best to work with you, and they will be seriously considered. Any bands requesting to headline will NOT be seriously considered. This year Clint McAllister will be in charge of the line ups and keeping in touch with the bands. Please use aggiefestbands@gmail.com for all questions and correspondence until the weekend of the festival. Aggiefest is a non-paying gig, and all the money raised goes to the Manhattan Music Coalition. Please do take the time to promote yourselves to get people to your time slot to watch. Handbills are a great idea to pass out to people attending other shows during the festival. Flyers cannot be hung on green light-poles or trash cans in Aggieville, but can be put up along its perimeter, and Aggieville does have a lot of patrons that walk to the area to attend.

Line ups and venue lists will not be final until the week of the festival, however the day of your show will be available as soon as possible, especially for those driving in from out of town and those who have conflicts.

This is a great opportunity to meet other bands to trade gigs, and to promote yourselves. We'll be promoting the festival to get people into the area. It's up to you to get them to your show! Flyers and handbills are great, and so is merch! Thanks to all of you who have inquired about the festival via the aggiefest myspace page, it's dying soon. You should correspond via this email address from now on.

Thank you!
