10:00am-10:30pm: Opening Address

10:30am-11:20am: Mary Price with Family's Against Mandatory Minimums (FAMM) to talk about their organization, current legislation and the cause and effect relationship between drug policy and incarceration.

11:30am-12:20pm: Choice of speaker panel or Roundtable Discussion: Kathleen Kane-Willis with The Institute for Metropolitan Affairs and George Pappas with IDEAL Reform to talk about drug policy and cannabis on the state level OR Pete Guither with www.DrugWarRant.com to present a workshop

12:30pm-1:30pm: Lunch on your own.

1:30pm-2:20pm: Choice of workshop: Amber Langston, outreach director of national SSDP to present a workshop campus activism, recruiting and staying involved in drug policy reform after college OR Pete Guither, author of www.DrugWarRant.com to present a workshop, “Elevator Arguments” on quick and effective speaking points to targeted audiences

2:30pm-3:20pm: Julie Falco a medical cannabis patient, Dan Linn with Illinois NORML and John Walker with ICAN will be on a panel together about Illinois progression in medical cannabis.

3:30pm- 4:20pm: Jim Gierach with LEAP.

4:30pm- 5:30pm: Ben Masel to talk about industrial hemp and the impact that drug policy has on electoral votes.


Midnight: Theater of Ted, improve troupe, will be performing on ISU quad, themed show SSDP/420
