  • The celebrated diversity of Montreal’s vibrant musical scene is on perfect display Saturday Oct 15th at Divan Orange with A Devil’s Din, Sweet Mother Logic and The Caroline Glass Band.

First up we have Caroline Glass Band. Not only does she have a beautiful voice, Caroli...ne plays more instruments than most have fingers. Expect to hear expert oboe playing, flute, piccolo-clarinet, even crumhorns (that is, whenever she steps away from the mic and puts down her electric guitar or mandolin). Caroline is backed by the mighty rhythm section of Thomas Chollet on bass and legendary Montreal drummer Eloi Bertholet (Nils, Swing Dynamique), Dave Lines on guitar and keys, with added horn players Patrick Edwards-Daugherty on bassoon and Andrew King (Dr Noh) on trumpet. The band moves easily from chamber-pop and psyfolk to full-on Rock n Roll.

To further enhance your taste buds, Sweet Mother Logic bring their genre-defying blend of post-rock, prog and electronic experimentation to stage, with their line-up of cello, violin, drums and vintage synths.

Concluding the night is A Devil’s Din, who will be performing tracks from their debut album “One Day All This Will Be Yours”. Psychedelic, progressive, possibly perilous and slightly surreptitious, A Devil’s Din is an adventure in sound, rounding off a night that guarantees some serious (and seriously fun) sonic exploration.

Show starts at 9pm, doors open at 8:30

Tickets are $6 in advance or $8 at the door.
Tickets are available at Cheap Thrills, Atom Heart & Sound Central
