It seems to be very difficult to get a serious discussion on housing policy here.

I would welcome any support or criticism,

You
guys would love Mark Curtis, he is Britain's biggest foreign
policy critic. By trawling through declassified government files he is
able to hold up bare facts against the dubious claims of various politicians.

He has estimated that British governments bear "significant ...responsibility for around 10 million deaths since 1945".

Following the successful seminars in Birmingham and Cardiff examining the results of the Fabian Understanding Attitudes to Tackling Economic Inequality and ippr project Political Debate about Economic Inequality, the roadshow continues.
Next up, we're off to Manchester where Sir Richard Leese CBE, leader of Manchester C...ity Council, will discuss the findings of the report and what it might tell us about reducing inequalities in the UK. He will be joined by Fabian general secretary, Sunder Katwala.
These publications have been supported by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation. The Fabian research explains the drivers of public attitudes towards inequality and looks at their implications. Ippr investigated the way inequality is represented in five major political parties.
Time:1:00PM Monday, September 7th
Location:Manchester Conference Centre
