The FairTax is nonpartisan legislation (HR 25/S 296) that replaces all personal and corporate income taxes, all payroll taxes like Social Security and Medicare, estate, gift, capital gains, alternative minimum, and self-employment taxes.

David For America's concerns - federal deficits and runaway spending, exploding taxes, a re-crashing economy devoid of jobs - Fairtax is the answer. The Democrats have a chance to repair the damage their disruptive agenda has wrought, and the Republicans have the chance to prove they are more than contrarians. We need to make it very simple for everyone to understand. My bullets are:
*The poor get a reimbursement check each month not welfare but a reimbursement of the taxes estimated for there family.
*We all get to keep most of our pay check (no Federal tax or FICA).
*Business do not have to collect and match any income tax...es. Therefore, more money to hire more people who can then go spend their money any way they wish.
*Encourages businesses to spend their time and energy in the business they choose instead of spending so much money for taxes and tax collecting and time with IRS rules and regulations.
*No expensive, time consuming Income Tax Repoting.
*We have a choice of paying taxes or not by what we purchase and where we purchase. (Used items not taxed)
*Everybody pays when they buy. Illegals, foreign visitors, people that make money illegally (Under the table )Read More
