Great idea - The Cafe Press bumper sticker is $4.99, and I don't know how much of that goes to AFFT, but if you are holding an event, you can have bumper stickers printed for just over a dollar each, and you can hand them out to the people you meet. That might be a better option than handing out $5 stickers.

You are exactly right, Hank. Peaceful non-compliance with the tax code is the ticket. Even the employed are brain washed into thinking they must file, to pay the balance of tax that the employer hasn't taken out. Look where the electoral process has brought us...near economic ruin! No matter which party is in power, nothing changes. Congress is special interest occupied territory and will not change until we show them We the people control the purse strings.

There is no law that states that you HAVE to pay federal income tax. Most state income tax laws state that if you are required to pay federal income tax then you are required to pay state income tax.
It is essentially illegal yet they make examples out of some people that refuse to pay.
It's almost like organized crime. We dont even own the Federal Reserve.

Tax hikes on all, more federal control and millions more not knowing the true cost of government.....it'll be another great but nation destroying advertisement.

Jobs lost, unemployment at 10.2 is nothing when this bill is pass. I hope all that I am hearing will be wrong, but some of my customers say they will lay off a few employees before they take a hit.

If the FairTax were to pass, that would be the only way we could afford this Healthcare bill, because everyone would be paying. Just think of all the undocumented plus possibly tourists, as well as all of us. The government would be collecting WAY more taxes than they are getting presently. This FairTax is the only way to go !

Friends, the Tea Parties have been circumscribed by special interests, to keep the range of advocacy within acceptable bounds of the special interest status quo. It is the status quo of electoral/lobbyist politics that will always act to frustrate movement to end the income tax to bring about the fairtax.

This, is change we can believe in! Otherwise, if we keep doing the same thing, electoral politics, we will get the same result as always, and our country's economic future will be in ruin. Would the Founders have even waited this long? We owe it to our children, to returning Veterans that will one day enter the labor force, and we owe it too ourselves to take responsibility when government becomes destructive to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Another way, I was thinking of a sit out for a day or two. Maybe even those two days we head to Washington. Or perhaps we can start a rotation protest. Something like a year round protest in Washington by all supporters of FairTax. Instead of going on... See More vacation, we all use that week in Washington. Just brain storming, I have never protest or even politically active(vote) until last November. Hope to hear from more people with better ideas.
