Remember to compare the total cost of a flight when comparing prices as additional charges may be included in the taxes and fees that can significantly raise the rate.
Joe N Tracey Gili I had three overdraft fees of 30 each and an insufficient funds fee for three over drafts that totalled 18 dollars. This bank makes way too much money on these types of fees. That's why I switched to chase. They send me a text message when my account get down to a certain dollar amount, and I also get rewards in dollars for using my debit as a visa. Aside from their customer service, they actaully suck

I love credit unions...the only reason I am not currently using my checking account with fairwinds is because I am a heavy debit card user and I dont see myself rewarded by using their debit Card. I am curently banking with another financial isntitution that is currently giving me 4 points for every dollar I spend and ...then i can change if for cash abck to my account or for gift cards. The points add up very quick with this debit card. Just by using this debit card I have already acumulated 45 dollars in two months.
Now, tell me...what savings account is going to give you that return in less than two months (unles you have hundreds of thousands of dollars), The answer is none.I will love to go back and start using my checking acocunt with fairwinds, but the only reason again I changed banks was because of the debit card points.

I can't wait for Fairwinds iPhone app next year! (Referenced by FCU in other Facebook comments) I have actually contemplated leaving FCU because the connectivity hasn't kept up with the times...
I'm not sure I could ever actually leave because of Fairwinds' excellent customer service, but it is good to hear progress is underway. Keep it the best!!!

You know what would be great for Fairwinds? Stop charging uncollected Funds fees, or charging $120 in fee's for $20 in overdrafts. Uncollected Funds and then Insufficient Funds. What a great one-two punch to the common man. Two transactions caused $120 in fee's, and as of this morning I am $210 deep in overdraft fees. ...$22 of that is an actual overdraft. Unbelievable. Then you say since it's not a bank error, you don't want to help your customers out. it could have been fixed when it was at $120 if you had refunded 3 of the four fees. Yet now, the account is $210 deep in fees. You think I'm going to pay that? That's only half my paycheck, right? I can afford that, right? I think its time I change banks yet again, and maybe even show the news the great policies of Fairwinds. Ridiculous! Want to be different? Then give customers time to fix their balance, call them when their balances go in the negative to let them know, and stop double charging fees.Read More

Kathy I am new to Fairwinds, what a difference coming from BOA in terms of customer service. But the online banking needs attention; its slow and does not have many feature, like payment history, last payment amount...etc. PLEASE improve online banking!!!
