The Stanislaus Chapter had a very informative dinner meeting with great attendance in October. Local family physician and residents met to learn about current health care reform plans, hear how CAFP is advocating for patient care philosophy in Sacramento, and obtain an update on the Stanislaus Family Medicine Residenc...y Program.
CAFP Director of Government Relations Tom Riley presented an excellent update on California's health care reform issues as well as the national health care debate. Tom also updated members on CAFP's opposition to the Governor and Legislature's cost-cutting move that established the Naturopathic Medicine Committee under the Osteopathic Medical Board of California.
It was an evening of greeting colleagues and catching up with friends. Stanislaus Chapter President Jose Rodriguez, MD would like to thank the Stanislaus Family Residency Program, Doctors Medical Center, and CAFP for their help with event coordination. Read More
