While these 10 universities are fine institutions of higher learning, especially for agriculture, the list is flawed. You can not have a top 10 list of Agriculture universities without Texas A&M University being on the list.

4. The Norman Borlaug Institute of International Agriculture is housed at TAMU.

5. Apart of and in charge of the largest extension service in the United States – Agrilife Extension Service – Texas.

6. The original land grant university in Texas, established in 1876.

7. The college can be found on twitter, facebook, you tube, itunes U, etc…

8. The “A” in Texas A&M, still stands for Agriculture
