Great interview Finnur! Your English is more than adequate and your music is outstanding. I am Pall Hammer's filmmaker friend who lives in Hawaii. Hopefully I will be back in the Faroes within the next year or so to shoot a feature film. I look forward to hearing your band again.

Rob Swenson Could you do a segment on how to get to the Faroe Islands? I'm looking at travelocity and I can't get there from here (using those airlines). How do you even get tickets?

In short, the only airline that flies in is Atlantic Airways, and they fly to London (Stansted), Copenhagen, and Iceland. You have to book a ticket to those cities, then get to the Faroes on http://www.flyfaroe.com . We're hoping to get the airline's CEO on the podcast one of these days.

I've already filled out the form, which (hopefully) will grant me access to the US. To a foreigner like me, those questions are weird, but I do think there's a higher purpose with them though.

Good luck with the paperwork!! If you're in town on the weekend, Dave will definitely be available and there are a lot of fun Christmas events happening. If it's a weekday, it may be just me and a friend or two, but I'll be more than glad to show you around :)!!

Short memory of the Faroes:It’s late Friday night. Actually, it’s Saturday morning, about 2:30 or so. I’m at the G! Festival listening to some techno DJ spin tunes at the dance area. It was my first day at the festival, which is staged on a beach at the end of a fjord. ...
