Fastback Studios This week at Fastback, lot's of mixing, a bit of wiring, and audio class on Tuesday night. This week we are digging into the wide world of Dynamics. We will demonstrate the sublte, yet effective Smart C2, and the downright aggresive yet beautiful Altec 436c.

There are many high end effects pedals on the market and over time we will be collecting more to get the sound-effects that your music needs.

Fastback Studios Tonight our audio class will study Metering, Gain Staging, S/N Ratio, Dynamic Range, VU, dB, Signal Path, and look under the hood of some great analog gear. We will also be setting up a session and recording some instruments, maybe Mark will sing for us!

James Dail died of a drug & alcohol overdoes. The funds raised at
this all-star punk event will go to James family to cover funeral
expenses. James ashes are laid to rest with his father’s ashes in Las
Cruces, NM.
