SheEO Professional Women’s Alliance is a grassroots, non-profit organization founded to protect the interests of women's business enterprise, and to... assist and develop the entrepreneurial and professional advancement of women across the globe. We connect entrepreneurs, small business owners, and industry professionals to partner and establish relevant, non-competitive relationships while working towards mutual success. Our global membership of volunteers partner and collaborate through peer-to-peer mentoring and strategic placement, advance career development, competency training, and work-life support, while sharing our knowledge, resources, challenges and success on a platform of professional sorority. Our global network will also be utilized to inspire, empower and engage at-risk youth with untapped potential through a curriculum-based internship program to recruit and mentor our next generation of agents of change. SheEO is positioned to quickly become the world's leading small business incubator, full-service resource pool, and sisterhood circle for modern and ambitious career women. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- SheEO has identified objectives to be addressed to support member recruitment and the programs of our organization: :: Establish and receive 501(c)3 tax exempt status by July 2010. :: Mobilize a network of 1 million supporters and community constituents by 2012 to support the professional growth, development, and advancement of working women. :: Identify the immediate needs and concerns of women, and to understand how these issues affect work-life stability and the professional advancement of working women across the globe. :: Work to provide adequate resources and solutions to protect the interests of women's business enterprise and career development through education, innovation and technology. :: Shape and promote new and effective channels of communication among women through dialogue, knowledge sharing, bartering, and strategic partnering; and aggressively working to share our cultures and views on a global platform of sorority. :: Through our network of volunteers,to partner and collaborate with public schools to address the critical needs of young women and girls, and to sponsor and promote programs that encourage and engage our future generations of leaders. :: Form strategic alliances and partnerships with corporations, philanthropists, and academic institutions to support our mission, programs, and global initiatives.
