Hello! I'm half-pinay living in Germany, studiing color-design and writing my final thesis about the philippines...I'd be so happy if you could help me out with some answers...

You have to be a filipino/filipina living in the philippines :)

1) Name 3 typical things/behaviours/values in the philippines (like jeepney, eati...ng with hands, santo nino...)

2) Name 3 Colors you are surrounded by in your environment (like pink walls, mintgreen chairs, green fences...)

3) what is your favourite Color?

4)what makes the philippines different from the other asian cultures?

pls if its ok for you, give ur name, age and profession, city (e.g. gina, 27, nurse in manila) and send the answers to behoney80@web.de

Thank you so much!

Ferdinand Center for the Creative Recently, an Australian agency decided to outsource all their design work to the Philippines. Sounds great, right? Read on:

A “leading” Australian online logo design company recently announced they’re outsourcing all logo designs to the Philippines from now on.

you are right about Filipinos getting the amount their Australian colleagues are also getting - that is, if said Pinoys are employed IN Australia, but since it is outsourced here, standard-of-living wages corresponding to outsourced country will suffice.

If it were proportionate, I would agree with you, but it doesn't appear to be proportionate or even close. Look at what a company like Impact charges for their designs. Even imagining that 100% of the money went to the outsourced talent, that's far far short of what a logo should cost. Now, of course, it's almost unfair to even make that comparison... Read More because in my opinion, Impact isn't even attempting to be a design firm; they're just a commodity peddler. They're selling a packaged product to clients who care little about anything other than price, much the same ways as people buy paperclips.
