He's beautiful!!! My dog Kyla (whose photos I submitted to you vis email) had the DNA test done a few years back. Very cool to find out she was a Pitbull/Rottweiler/Bulldog/Vizla. I now call her my Pittrottbullzla.

I just usually think of my mom pulling my dad off the couch each year to carve the turkey and then always yelling at him about not doing it "right." That and the one time the shaker on the salt container fell off and about a half cup of salt went into her gravy and she cried. Burnt rolls are always a joke at our house, too. Then there was the time... Read More our family dog at a huge bite out of the just cooked turkey that was sitting on the counter. We all heart this *scratch, scratch* sound and couldn't figure out what it was. It was Muffin using his paw to pull the platter closer to the edge so he could reach it. One more inch and that baby would have been on the floor! I remember my mom frantically trying to "wash it off" where the bite was, hoping nobody would be the wiser. She probably gave my dad that piece...LOL!

The only Thanksgiving that my parents ever ate at my place was back in the mid-70's. The Thanksgiving table was set with what I thought was just the silverware & plates; my toddlers were wandering around & pulling out chairs. My mom had placed butter on the table, however. Next thing I knew when walking by the table there was Dixie, our cocker spaniel STANDING on a "mussed up table" chowing down the stick of butter! Had to "shoo" her off the table w/a broom!
