This is an amazing season program. Lingua Language Center is hosting an amazing program that goes along with this great program. Conversational Italian through the Opera: This is the first of a series of programs that promote the study of the Italian language through the opera, the Italian cuisine and the arts. Each s...ession meets for nine-weeks. The first session targets students of Italian from an intermediate to an advanced level, who also like the opera. Students will learn the lyrics and their meaning of some of the most popular arias of this season's operas playing at the Florida Grand Opera. Conversations will highlight the composers' biographies and other interesting opera-related topics. Field trips to the actual opera season at the Fort Lauderdale Center for the Performing Arts will be offered optionally.
