Florence Griswold Museum Just a few more things about Wee Faerie Village! I just uploaded some more photos. One batch from a wonderful family who enjoyed the Village so much they sent us pictures. The others are from Josh, from Old Lyme High School. He took pictures of the students that did the voices of the faeries for the cell phone tour. They did such a great job! http://www.flickr.com/photos/florencegriswoldmuseum/

Florence Griswold Museum My first attempt at loading the Halloween Party photos was unsuccessful. I hope it works this time. The Wee Faerie Village was a huge hit...just over 10,000 people enjoyed the three week installation of faerie homes. A big thank you to our artists and volunteers!

Florence Griswold Museum David Rau (Faerie Mastermind) took this photo of Babbling Brookside

created by Julie Solz and Steve Hansen. Seems one of the (real) local frogs decided to ride a while on Finn's raft!

We missed seeing her today - although my son thought he might have seen a fairy fly out of the bushes this morning.

Florence Griswold Museum Everything is really gearing up for the Wee Faeire Village. One artist (Lisa Kenyon) wote about her expereince building her faerie house on our blog and another (Maureen McCabe) brought her house, Undine's World, in today. It is an item at our auction benefit this weekend. Can you imagine having this work of art!? (After the Village of course!)
