
Florence Griswold Museum My first attempt at loading the Halloween Party photos was unsuccessful. I hope it works this time. The Wee Faerie Village was a huge hit...just over 10,000 people enjoyed the three week installation of faerie homes. A big thank you to our artists and volunteers!

All adorable (or scary) creatures welcome at the Florence Griswold Museum's Wee Faerie Village Halloween Costume Party and Parade. The fun begins at 1pm on Saturday, October 31. A parade around the grounds begins at 2pm followed by costume judging at 3pm. Great prizes from Old Lyme Ice Cream Shoppe, DaVinci's Pizza, an...d the Museum Shop. Fun hands-on creative activity continues in the Hartman Education Center until 5pm. Come early to explore the Wee Faerie Village. Florence Griswold Museum Everything is really gearing up for the Wee Faeire Village. One artist (Lisa Kenyon) wote about her expereince building her faerie house on our blog and another (Maureen McCabe) brought her house, Undine's World, in today. It is an item at our auction benefit this weekend. Can you imagine having this work of art!? (After the Village of course!)
