Food & Wine

Food & Wine F&W's Lettie Teague asks, "When you bring wine as a hostess gift, do you want your hostess to open it that night or put it away?" Food & Wine

Food & Wine Thanksgiving dishes can be outrageously heavy—or downright heavenly. Here, the most fattening Thanksgiving dishes (like bacon-wrapped turkey), plus F&W's lighter, delicious alternatives. http://www.foodandwine.com/slideshows/most-fattening-thanksgiving-dishes

Carole Kempler Meagher

Carole Kempler Meagher If anyone is interested, I found a source for the mysterious Cranberry Ginger Chutney that appeared in the November 2001 issue of F&W. I assume for copyright reasons they couldn't put it online.

This is a great riff on cranberry sauce with a little extra "zing."

I keep my tear-outs (from F&W and everywhere else) in a 3 ring binder with the pages in clear sheet protectors. It's my go-to book with all the family favorites. I used to keep the magazines, but they sure can pile up!

THE most painful thing I ever had to do is throw out about 5 years of back issues of F&W, Gourmet and Bon Appetit. I was moving to SC from NYC and the move was based on weight and not on amount of boxes.
