a lot of things come to us consumers FREE, i.e. hotmail, gmail, google and all. they did well and set the benchmark. As a giant owner, you have to live up to expectation. And u, I hope you are a real user not a fake dual id from the forumotion team to voice your frustration against us the forum owners.

if they cannot manage all the expectation, they can close down for good.

Are you serious? we spend effort on our forum and we publicize for forumotion with their LINKS on our forum and forum members which has much exposure. They earn money from purchase of credits and all the google advertisement. So they have to deliver some STANDARDS.
This is a REAL world, if they have nothing to gain, what for they provide FREE service?

So the forum goes down... for a time... so what? I don't mind the modifications, but it would be cool if instead of complaining to just go and do something else. They are trying to make it better. I for one, appreciate it all, and even understand that there is going to be a hurdles to get through to perfect it. I for one, love the forum. The others... Read More who keep saying... one more time, I wish this, I wish that... perhaps instead of wasting time and ours reading about all that, cause you just know it's just going to happen again, take the walk and go elsewhere. A lot of time has been invested in the making of the forum, I do a lot of writing and graphic work. We even moved thousands of posts from msn groups to forumotion. There is no way I'm doing that again. Would rather have down time than to lose all the work and time invested.

^^^ with you there, all hosts have down, I too would rather have downtime as long as it means something, like this.
