Foxen Winery The 2009 harvest is officially over!!! We just brought in the last of the Cabernet Sauvignon from the Vogelzang Vineyard. Hopefully Billy and his crew can get some well deserved rest!

Foxen Winery New scores just in! Wine Enthusiast Magazine has given our 2008 Chardonnay, Tinaquaic Vineyard 94 points! Other notable scores include our 2008 foxen 7200 Sauvignon Blanc has received 91 Points and is an Editors Choice. The 2008 Chardonnay Bien Nacido Block UU and the 2008 Chardonnay Bien Nacido "steel cut" each received 91 points, and finally our 2008 Chenin Blanc has received 90 points.

Foxen Winery Jenny is off to Florida this morning, and Dick returns from his sales trip in Hawaii later today. Billy has brought in 90% of our fruit so far. Still some Cabernet, Cabernet Franc and Merlot still out hanging.
Foxen Winery Jenny will be pouring at the Selected Brands Distributors Annual Portfolio Tasting in Florida next week! In SoBe at the Four Seasons Hotel 1p-5p on Monday 10/19, and in Orlando at Moonfish 1p-4p on Tuesday 1p-4p. Stop by and say hello!
Foxen Winery Thanks to everyone who attended our Winemaker dinner on Friday night, that came by our table at the Celebration of Harvest on Saturday, and who visited our tasting rooms over the weekend. It was nice to see some old friends, and make some new ones too!

Foxen Winery Jenny spent a fun evening at La Maison Gourmet in Mission Viejo last night. What a fun place, with enthusiastic customers! Proprietors Marc and Louise are the best! She is now off to Hollywood to pour at the American Wine & Food Festival in Hollywood later today. No rest for the weary! Hope to see some of our fans there.
